Understanding Offers and Bundles
One of the most powerful features of Foliodia is the ability to decouple your products from your pricing. Instead of pricing a product directly, you create "Offers" inside your forms.
Overview
An Offer is a package presented to the customer at checkout. It dictates the final price the customer pays and determines exactly which products (and how many of each) are included in that price.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open an existing form or create a new one from the Forms dashboard.
- Scroll down to the Offers section.
- Click Add Offer.
- Name the Offer: Give it a compelling title (e.g., "The Starter Kit" or "Buy 2 Get 1 Free").
- Set the Selling Price: This is the total amount the customer will pay for this specific bundle.
- Add Products: Click the dropdown to select which products are included. You can add multiple different products to a single offer, or increase the quantity of a single product.
- Save: Save your form.
Tips & Best Practices
- The Decoy Effect: Create three offers (e.g., Basic, Pro, Premium) and price the "Pro" option very closely to the "Premium" option. Customers will naturally gravitate toward the Premium option because it seems like a much better deal.
- Clear Naming: Be explicitly clear in your offer names about what the customer is getting to avoid confusion during fulfillment.
Common Problems
I can't add a product to my offer. Ensure the product has been checked/enabled in the "Select Products" section at the top of the form builder. Only enabled products can be bundled into offers for that specific form.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have an offer with a $0 price? Yes, if you are giving away free samples or using a "pay for shipping only" model, you can set the selling price to 0.
