Create Your First Product

Adding your first product is the most important step in setting up your Foliodia store. This guide will walk you through the process of creating a product, managing stock, and understanding cost structures.

1. Navigating to the Products Page

From your dashboard, click on the Products link in the left-hand navigation menu. This will open the inventory management screen.

2. Adding a New Product

Click the + New Product button in the top right corner. A sleek popout modal will appear where you can enter the basic details of your product.

Required Fields

• Name: The internal name of your product (e.g., "Premium Leather Wallet").
• Cost Price: What it costs you to source or manufacture the product. This is crucial for calculating profit margins later.
• Initial Stock: The total physical quantity you currently have available.
• Country: The region this product is primarily sold in.

3. Advanced Settings (Optional)

You can also configure the following directly from the creation modal, though they will inherit your store defaults if left blank:

• Low Stock Threshold: When inventory falls below this number, Foliodia will automatically notify you via push notification and email.
• Notification Emails: The email addresses that should receive low stock alerts for this specific product.

4. Save and Publish

Once you have filled out the details, click Save Product. Your product is now part of your inventory and can be bundled into Offers within the Form Builder!
